"I had my first Dart for only about 6 months. Sorry to say that a guy turned
in front of me and I T-boned him and totaled the car. When the insurance
paid me for it I bought another one just like it except it was red with a
white stripe over the top. The red cars were pretty common. Dodge used to
use them in their commercials and ads, but the brown color scheme was pretty
rare. I had never seen another one in 35 years. I turned 50 in 2005. It just
so happened that I found my current car on ebay just before my birthday. I
was very excited about it because it was the first one I had seen like the
one I had. The car was at a dealer in Pennsylvania. I called them a couple
of times. I wanted it very badly but I just wasn't going to buy it. The
third time I called they said that they were very sorry but the car had been
sold.
It had been sold alright, my wife and my business partner bought it for me
for my 50th birthday. It was the closest I have come to crying since I was 6
years old. They took me to lunch at the "Brick" in Avondale and had it
parked out front covered up."
